Angie Sherrill

Cosmetic Program Manager

What inspired you to join the team at Transform Weight Loss?

I have worked with Dr. Billing and Dr. Harris in the past, and it was the best and most fulfilling position I have ever worked in my medical career. So, when I was given the opportunity to do it again, for a company that has the same vision that I do for patient care, I did not hesitate to be a part of an amazing team. I am so grateful to be a part of our patient’s journey as they begin their Transformation.

What’s your specialty?

I am a certified surgical technician and a certified medical assistant. When I am assisting in surgery, I usually do bariatric cosmetic cases and they are my absolute favorite cases to do. When I am in my medical assisting role, I specialize in bariatric weight loss and cosmetic surgery appointments.

What’s the biggest reward of your job?

My absolute biggest reward of my job is being able to go along this exciting journey of our patients. I have been able to be a part of many patient’s lives—from their first consult visits, to their pre-op to surgery visits, and especially their follow up visits, when we get to celebrate victories and get through any struggles they might have. Seeing them set up their cosmetic surgery visits, it feels like the “cherry on top” of their weight loss journey.

What would surprise people about you?

I guess people seem shocked when they find out that I own a Jeep Wrangler. I do love going off-roading with it and getting it dirty often.

What do you during your spare time?

I love to spend time with my family. You can’t miss us: we can get loud and joke around a lot. I also enjoy spending my weekends hiking, especially on trails where they lead me to a beautiful waterfall. Another interest: I get a thrill out of finding an old piece of run-down furniture and fixing it up. And if I have a lot of spare time, I most definitely love to travel. I can’t get enough of seeing new places and experiencing different cultures.
