For Josiah, working at Transform Weight Loss was a chance for him be a part of something he believed in: providing people with the tools they need to deal with their weight loss challenges. Increasing access to care is so important and one of Transform’s primary goals.
Why do you do what you do?
“I enjoy helping people. Healthcare can be incredibly confusing and helping patients navigate insurance and get life changing treatment is incredibly fulfilling.”
What’s your specialty?
“Clinical research. I have worked with Dr. Billing on many research projects including publishing papers in peer reviewed journals, clinical trials and presenting at conferences. Being on the cutting edge of healthcare and educating the community.”
What’s the biggest reward of your job?
“Working with a phenomenal group of people and helping our patients achieve their goals. Watching a patient Transform into a healthier version of themselves is so powerful. Building relationships long-term, we are really able to get to know our patients.”
What would surprise me about you?
“I was a cheerleader and gymnast and coached for many years. I love teaching and watching people meet their goals.”
What would you like people to know about you?
“I will always do everything I can to help. Whether there is a financial crisis or you just need help understanding your insurance. I enjoy listening to a patient’s problems and finding the best solution.”
What do you do in your spare time? “
I love cooking and trying new recipes. I coach and volunteer with different cheerleading programs and high schools, teaching stunting and tumbling and have recently gotten into rock climbing! I also am an avid reader and especially love a good fantasy series.”
