Robin Denise Badger

Surgical Technician/Sterile Processing Technician

What brought you to Transform Weight Loss?

As someone who has struggled with weight loss my entire life, I am inspired to help follow along the path of achieving better health alongside our patients.

When I met Dr. Billing at Evergreen Surgical Center and was offered a chance to join the team at Transform, it became clear to me I would not only love to watch people lose weight but do it together with them.

There’s always an immediate bond between individuals who share the same problem.

What is your specialty?

I am a graduate of the Surgical Technology program from Renton Technical College. My background is 20+ years as a Certified Sterile Processing Technician. The sterility of our instrumentation is of upmost importance to me. Keeping our patients safe from infection is my #1 priority. I started working as a nursing assistant in my late teen years and knew I would always work in medicine.

What would Surprise people about you?

I know American Sign Language. I went to middle school with deaf students who were mainstreamed into the school system. I love to being around deaf culture and keeping long lasting friendships.

What would you like patients to know about you?

That I care whole heartedly. I am a very good listener and take pride in my work. I’m very grateful to wake up every day and meet new people with amazing life stories!

What do you like to do in your spare time?

When I’m lucky enough to have spare time, I enjoy listening to music or going to the movies. Lately I’ve been going through quite a few audio books. Biographies are my favorite. Traveling is always fun when I can afford It. Also, I’m a huge fan of our local hockey team. Go Kraken!
